Új hang, új stílus a túszszabadításban: dél koreai kommandósok nyolc kalózt megöltek

A merész és hatékony dél-koreai kommandósok, felrúgva a korábbi dogmákat, sikeres helikopteres támadást intéztek egy kereskedelmi hajót elfoglaló, a legénységet túszul ejtő szomáliai kalózok ellen. A bravúros akcióban nyolcukat megölték, öt másikat foglyul ejtettek. Három kommandós szenvedett „karcolásokat” a kalózokkal két helyszínen is kialakult tűzharcban. A túszok sértetlenek, vezetőjüket a bosszúszomjas kalózok a támadás kezdetén hasba lőtték, de nincs életveszélyben.

Az akciót a szomáli partoktól 1300 km-re, az Indiai óceánon, Omántól mintegy 550km-re  hajtották végre. A konfliktus kedden kezdődött, ahogy a kalózok rálőttek a Choi Young rombolóra, amely egy kalózkülönítmény elfogására indult. (A dél koreai romboló az amerikai vezetésű, Dzsibuti főhadiszállással  működő 150-es kombinált csapásmérő erő – Combined Task Force 150 (CMF)*– kötelékébe tartozik. A 150-esek hatékonyabbak és keményebbek, mint az EU NAVFOR Atalanta** műveletben részt vevő, hasonló feladatokkal, kalóztámadások kivédésével, kereskedelmi hajókonvojok kísérésével megbízott hajóegységek. Nem tudjuk, a két nagy erő közti együttműködés, munka-, feladatmegosztás milyen mértékű.)

A pirátkülönítmény egy mongol teherhajót akart éppen elfoglalni, bázisul használva a Samho Jewelryt, az eredetileg elfoglalt hajót. A hadihajót tűz alá vevő szomáli kalózok semlegesítésére felszállt egy Lynx*** helikopter, amely fedélzeti fegyvereivel szétlőtte a kalózok gyorshajóját, ahonnan az életben maradt kalózok a vízbe ugráltak. A partoktól mintegy 600km-re a vízben lévő kalózokra a dél-koreaiak nem lőttek, de sorsukra hagyták őket. A dél-koreaiak másik különítménye megrohamozta gyorsjárású csónakokkal a Samho Jewelryt. A fedélzeten tűzharc alakult ki, az egyik kalóz bosszúból hasba lőtte a főtúszt, a kapitányt, aki nem szenvedett életet veszélyeztető sérülést. A többi túsz sértetlen maradt.

A sikeres akció szentségtörésnek számít a szomáliai partok előtt cirkáló, alacsony hatékonyságú EU hadihajók taktikájával szemben. A nemzetközi flotta az Indiai óceánon való állomásoztatásának havi költsége megközelíti a százmillió dollárt – és alig érnek el eredményt a rugalmasan taktikázó, jól felszerelt és elszánt kalózokkal szemben. A kalózkérdés bonyolult nemzetközi jogi útvesztői (mikor, hogyan „ildomos” fegyveres erőszakot alkalmazni, hogyan határozzák meg az arányos mértékű alkalmazott erőszak, fegyveres kényszerítés határát, mi legyen az elfogott kalózokkal, hogyan lehet emberjogaik megsértése nélkül a krízishelyzetet megoldani, mely hatóság hol, milyen körülmények között illetékes elítélésükben egy olyan térségben, ahol a nyugati jog-erkölcsrendszer normái gyakorlatilag alkalmazhatatlanok, hogyan kutatható át nemzetközi jogkonfoman egy kalózgyanús vízijármű, stb.)

A kiszabadított hajó, a 19,600 tonnás vegyesrakományú (vegyianyag szállító) Samho Jewelry, máltai zászló alatt hajózó, norvég tulajdonú, dél-koreaiakkal a legénység soraiban.

*A Kombinált Tengerészeti Erők (Combined Maritime Forces) csaknem negyven hajóból áll, a többi között Ausztrália, Franciaország, Németország, Olaszország, Pakisztán, Kanada, Dánia, Törökország, Nagy-Britannia és az USA (5. Flotta) egységeiből áll, több, mint 4 millió négyzetkilométeres tengerszakaszért felelős. A kalóztámadások kivédése csak az egyik feladata a főcél, a terrorizmus, kábítószer-, emberkereskedelem megfékezése mellett. A Szuezi csatornától (Vörös tenger), délen Kenyáig, északon a Perzsa öbölig (Hormuz szoros), Pakisztánig terjed az övezet, amelyet ellenőríz. Mark Fox amerikai vice-admirális a parancsnok. (http://www.cusnc.navy.mil/cmf/cmf_command.html)

A tizennégy jármű lángba borítását a pakisztáni tálibok magukra vállalták.

A szállítmánynak a Chaman határátkelőn, a két pakisztáni fő utánpótlási út egyikének ( a "déli út") pakisztáni kilépőállomásán kellett volna átkelnie a hágón az afganisztáni határállomás, Spin Boldak felé, hogy tovább folytassa útját Kandahárba, majd a „nagykörúton” (Ring Road) Kabulba.

A beludzsisztáni kormányzó sajtósa, Akhban Hussein Dhurrani szerint tavaly 56 hasonló támadást hajtottak végre, 136 NATO-tartálykocsit megsemmisítettek, 34-en meghaltak.

A NATO-tartálykocsik hivatalos katonai kíséret nélkül, „civil” sofőrökkel közlekednek Pakisztánban.

Freedom House: Freedom in the World Report, the Only Improvement Is Kyrgyzstan, Hungary Warned

Hungary received a downward trend arrow (but remained in the best, - Free - category) due to the government's efforts to consolidate control over the country's independent institutions, Kyrgyzstan's political rights rating improved from 6 to 5 and its status from Not Free to Partly Free due to the adoption of a new constitution, the 2011 Freedom House assessment says (http://www.freedomhouse.org/template.cfm?page=15). Our story monitors only countries within our "area of responsibility" that is CEE/SEE, Eastern Europe, South/Central Asia.

Freedom in the World assessment on political rights and civil liberties:

CEE:
Hungary received a downward trend arrow (but remained in the 1 - Free - category) due to the government's efforts to consolidate control over the country's independent institutions, including the creation of a new media council dominated by the ruling party that has the ability to impose large fines on broadcast, print, and online media outlets. Latvia's civil liberties rating declined from 1 to 2 due to negative developments for press freedom, including threats to editorial independence following the sale of an influential newspaper under less-than-transparent circumstances.

Eastern Europe:
Ukraine's civil liberties rating declined from 2 to 3 and its status from Free to Partly Free due to deteriorating media freedom, secret service pressure on universities to keep students from participating in protests, government hostility toward opposition gatherings and foreign nongovernmental organizations, and an increase in presidential influence over the judiciary. Moldova's civil liberties rating improved from 4 to 3 due to a more balanced and diverse media environment, a reduction in government hostility toward civil society groups, and a lack of interference with political gatherings ahead of the November 2010 parliamentary elections. Georgia's civil liberties rating improved from 4 to 3 due to a reduction in the political instability the country confronted in the aftermath of the 2008 Russian invasion, as well as greater media diversity, including the launch of satellite broadcasts by the opposition television station Maestro. Nagorno-Karabakh's political rights rating declined from 5 to 6 and its status from Partly Free to Not Free due to the complete absence of opposition candidates in the May 2010 parliamentary elections.

South/Central Asia:
Afghanistan received a downward trend arrow due to fraudulent parliamentary elections in September 2010. Kyrgyzstan's political rights rating improved from 6 to 5 and its status from Not Free to Partly Free due to the adoption of a new constitution designed to dismantle the superpresidential system, and genuinely competitive, multiparty parliamentary elections held in October 2010. Worst ratings: Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, both with maximum penalty points (7+7).

Baglán tartomány legészakibb része (öt-Budapestnyi terület) tálib-mentes

Baglán tartományban, (amelyben a magyar vezetésű PRT, az afganisztáni magyar kontingens legnépesebb eleme is működik), északon, a Baghlan-e-Jadid járás tálib-mentessé vált, jelentette a Tolo afganisztáni privát tv-állomás pénteken.

Tbiliszi 35 milliárd dollárt, csaknem kétéves GDP-jét követeli Moszkván a 2008-as háború okozta károkért

A modern hadtudomány kevés esetet tud, amikor ezeket a jellegzetesen terület-lefogásra, pl páncélos ékek támadásának megállítására (nem városok ellen!) használt, eléggé pontatlan fegyvereket lakott települések ellen vetették volna be.

mondta Josef Blotz dandártábornok (Bundeswehr), ISAF szóvivő a Tolonews tv-csatornának adott interjújában (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUhzepUGaow&feature=player_embedded).
