Hungary not yet asked for permission to resell Russian/Soviet made MiG-29s in months - at least not through the relevant Russian embassy officials, a Moscow source told defsec.info. The source did not exclude the possibility that Budapest turned directly to the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (Федеральная служба по военно-техническому сотрудничеству - FSMTC) for permission.

Seven members of the 25-strong group who escaped on 22 Aug 2010 from a Dushanbe detention center have been rearrested in Afghanistan. Three of them have Afghanistani passports, Nozir Buriyev, press officer of the Tajikistani State Security Committee (GKNB) told media in Dushanbe.
